If you are one of those who also travel with your palate, this gastronomic experience is for you. “Flavours of the Subbética” is an immersion in the traditional cuisine of the region, carefully prepared with local products and served in a unique environment: the restaurant or terrace of the Hotel Villa Turística de Priego, surrounded by nature and tranquillity.
The menu includes a selection of typical starters that represent the best of Andalusian recipes: orza loin fried at low temperature, aubergine sticks with cane honey, assortment of homemade croquettes and a traditional Cordovan salmorejo.
As a main course, diners can choose between three local specialities: Mozarabic-style hake loins, oxtail with Subbética spices, or the classic flamenco loin and Serrano ham accompanied by fried egg and potatoes.
To finish, a homemade dessert is offered with a nod to the pastries of the area: bread with raisins and a touch of Rute anise, accompanied by a shot of Pedro Ximénez. The menu includes two drinks per person.
